Stick Tattoo New Operational Standards
In conjunction with West Virginia’s guidelines for businesses to reopen, Stick Tattoo Co. will be implementing some new operational standards for our shop for the foreseeable future. Please note the following:
All clients will be required to wear a mask or other face covering when entering our shop. Please note that clients are required to supply their own masks / face coverings.
While we miss each and every one of our customers, we must continue to limit the number of people in our shop at all times. To do this, we are making it mandatory for an appointment.
••• If you would like to inquire about a same-day appointment for either a tattoo or piercing, simply call the shop during our business hours and we will be happy to assist you.
We ask that our clients please come alone to their appointment.
Online Consent Forms/Paperwork
We now have our required consent paperwork available online and ask that you fill this information out prior to your appointment. Once completed, the forms will be sent to our team electronically, so there is no need to print them out. Those forms can be found on our homepage at www.sticktattoo.com.
To eliminate confusion, we are asking that all clients, existing or new, please provide an image of your ID for our records. This is advised by the State of West Virginia.
Upon arrival for your appointment, please call the shop and let them know you have arrived for your appointment. Our shop number is 304.212.5543.
In an effort to minimize the amount of clients in the shop at one time, we are asking customers to remain in their vehicles, or outside of our shop until 5 minutes before their appointment, but do ask that you check-in so that our artists can prepare their work station.
All required consent forms will need completed prior to checking-in.
We greatly appreciate your continued patience as we work through our backlog of missed appointments and appointment requests from the last 6 weeks. We recognize that these times have been hard on many of us, so we completely understand if you are unable to keep your appointment or would like to rescheudle.
We do kindly ask that you communicate that to us at your earliest opportunity, so that we can reschedule other appointments, and not hurt our artists’ schedules.
We ask our clients to make a conscious effort to use credit or debit cards for all upcoming appointments. We do not accept checks, and are kindly asking for limited cash transactions.
For the foreseeable future, we will not be offering nostril, septum, or any oral piercings due to our mask requirement.
We apologize – but no guests will be permitted during your appointment. Exception: Piercing for minors (16+) will be allowed 1 guardian to be present during their appointment.
Temporarily, we will not be offering children lobe piercings.
**Piercing guidelines are compliant with the WV State Guidelines, and follow the best piercing practices from the Association of Professional Piercers.
