Stick Tattoo Reopening on May 12
Friends, family, customers & community,
Stick Tattoo will be reopening to the general public on Tuesday, May 12, provided there are no changes in the State’s orders. We wanted to take an extra week to help ensure the health and safety of our customers, and properly prepare for our reopening.
Our coordinators will be working next week to contact our upcoming appointments, as well as all of our missed appointments to get you rescheduled as soon as possible. Your continued assistance in timely responses will be greatly appreciated.
From all of us at Stick Tattoo, we thank you for your continued support and patience as we work to get back to our normal scheduling and routine.
Like many, our team learned yesterday that we may have the ability to reopen in the near future. Please know, while excited at this announcement, we received this news with a variety of emotions.
First and foremost, the health and safety of our team, customers & their families have always been our number one priority. While it has been challenging not being able to work, we have fully supported the shutdown in doing our part to flatten the pandemic curve.
But like many small businesses, we have missed our customers and have missed the ability to perform the work we love. The last few weeks have not been a vacation, rather an uneasy and abrupt interruption of our norm. We fully understood that it was for a purpose — to do our part in ensuring the health and well-being of one another and our community.
And as our local community begins to reopen, please know that we have the responsibility of doing so in the safest, sanitary and appropriate manner possible. Those that have been in our shop know that we take pride in keeping our shop as clean and sterile as possible, and we will continue that commitment moving forward.
A few updates:
• We will be incorporating additional operational standards to our shop for the foreseeable future. We will communicate these details and measures before reopening.
• In regards to upcoming appointments, once we are confident on our reopening date, we will make a small announcement and will be contacting our upcoming appointments individually. Please note — until we know that date, our scheduling is still on hold.
• We will also be working to reschedule any appointments that were scheduled during our temporary closure, and will work to get them rescheduled at our earliest opportunity.
As our local community now takes the steps to reopen, it will be extremely important to continue to come together and support one another. And while we have always been an advocate for supporting local business, we encourage everyone to SUPPORT LOCAL RESPONSIBLY.
Let’s all do our part to support our local businesses, while still doing so in a safe and responsible manner!
Above all, our team thanks all of the Frontline, Essential and Healthcare Heroes that have continued to unselfishly serve others during this time.
