Zeglen family makes large donation to Tats for Toys
The STICK Tattoo Co. was grateful this week to be the recipient of a large toy donation to its Tats for Toys campaign made in memory of Edward Zeglen of Clarksville, Pa.
Zeglen died unexpectedly this week but not before a lifetime of service to others and his community. He was known as the resident community Santa Claus throughout Greene County walking in parades, making special appearances and keeping the holiday magic alive year after year for the community’s youth.
Zeglen’s son Mike wanted to do something meaningful to honor his father’s memory arriving at the Morgantown tattoo shop with several bags of goodies in tow.
“We are honored to accept this generous contribution from Mike and his family in honor of his dad,” said Damian Ferek, owner of STICK Tattoo. “We are grateful for their help in providing toys for Christmas to children at the Ronald McDonald House in Morgantown this year. “
This is the first year of the Tats for Toys campaign at the tattoo shop. In exchange for toy donations, donors receive a special holiday gift card redeemable for $20 off of a tattoo or $10 off of a piercing for appointments scheduled prior to Jan. 31, 2016. New toys can be delivered to the shop located in the Suncrest Towne Centre during business hours. All donated toys will be delivered to the Ronald McDonald House in Morgantown before Christmas.
